What's Better Than Loungewear?
Being home permanently until the unforeseen future really takes a toll on my wardrobe.
I'm one of those people who has either dressy clothes for work/going out to an event or the rattiest t-shirts and pajamas that shouldn't even be seen by humankind. And I promise you, I'm not exaggerating.
So when I realized that we would be quarantined to our homes for the next few weeks, maybe months, I realized I cannot allow myself to live like this. Because throughout my week, I'm finding myself wearing a shirt with a stain on it and jeans or a plush sweater and raggedy pajama shorts. Not comfortable or cute for being home and taking these Zoom work video calls!
And with the extra money I'm saving from not going out, eating out, traveling around anywhere, I indulged in some new loungewear pieces to add to my closet!
There's nothing wrong with sitting on the couch or your work station at home in style ladies!
I've found Nasty Gal has some super cute pajama and loungewear sets that are inexpensive and amazing quality! This star and moon pajama set is currently sold out, but I linked a similar set. So head on over to Nasty Gal and check out their pajama sets, as well as lounge and basics!
I also have been browsing H&M online a lot recently too, and while they are a little more pricey, they do have some great basics for affordable prices!
I love checking out their sale sections first! Because why not shop sale! This tube top is a basic that can be paired with so many other pieces, and extremely soft and stretchy for lounging at home or even if you need to step out and go somewhere for a quick errand.
These joggers are also a basic and super soft and comfy. They are more on the oversized/baggy side, so they're roomy and easy to move in. These were also on sale from Nasty Gal and comes in a few other colors, too!
If there's anything I've learned from being quarantined at home, it's financially shopping smarter as well as buying pieces that are basics or can be layered and worn multiple ways. I love extending my closet in a way that doesn't break the bank. And I love looking fashionable, even if it's just lounging at home and working from my bed!
Where have you been shopping for more affordable clothing? Have you purchased any new loungewear or pajama sets?
